Yup, it’s that time of year again, when the mysterious folks at Russian River Brewing release their most coveted beer, the illustrious and waaaayyyyy to drinkable for a Triple IPA, Pliny the Younger. Let’s be real, with all the BS going on in the world, we all need a beer or 3.
Here’s what else we’ll have on tap, from Russian River of course:
Pliny the Elder - 8% - West Coast Double IPA
Mind Circus - 7% - Hazy IPA
Hop Father - 7% - West Coast IPA
Consecration - 10% - Dark Ale aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from local wineries. It is aged for 8-12 months with currants, Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, and Pediococcus.
Supplication - 7.75% - Brown ale aged in Pinot Noir wine barrels for one year with sour cherries, Brettanomyces yeast, and Lactobacillus & Pedicoccus bacteria.
Damnation - 7.5% - Damnation - (Golden Ale) Inspired by Duvel and other strong golden ales of Belgium. Medium-bodied with a fruity-banana bouquet and a dry, spicy finish.
